This policy explains how KARMA IAB INC. ("we", "us") handles information in the apps we publish on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and on this website, karmaiab.com.
The short version: we don't collect your personal information. Our games have no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your progress is saved on your own device and never sent to us.
Information we collect
None. Our apps do not collect, store, or share personal information on our servers. Specifically, our apps do not:
- require you to create an account with us;
- include advertising, analytics, or tracking tools;
- track you across other companies' apps or websites;
- access your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
Information saved on your device
Our games save things like your level progress, scores, and settings on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this information. If you back up your device (for example, with iCloud), your device's backup may include it, under Apple's or Google's own policies.
Golf scorecard app and GHIN
Our golf scorecard app lets you enter player names, handicaps, and scores. All of this is saved only on your device.
The app also offers an optional sign-in to GHIN, the USGA's Golf Handicap and Information Network, to look up handicap indexes. If you choose to sign in:
- Your GHIN email (or GHIN number) and password are sent directly from your device to GHIN over an encrypted connection. They are never sent to us, and we never see your password.
- The app keeps your GHIN email and a sign-in token on your device so you stay signed in. It does not store your password. Signing out removes them.
- GHIN's handling of your information is governed by the USGA's own privacy policy.
You never have to sign in to GHIN. Entering handicaps by hand always works.
Information handled by Apple and Google
When you download an app, Apple or Google processes that transaction under their own privacy policies. If you have turned on the setting to share analytics with app developers, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you personally, and we use them only to fix bugs and improve our games.
Children's privacy
Our games are designed for general audiences. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live).
This website
karmaiab.com does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising. Like all websites, it is served by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), which may briefly process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
Changes to this policy
If our apps ever begin collecting information, for example by adding purchases or online features, we will update this policy before that change reaches you and change the date at the top of this page.
